Cette majoration de primes fait suite \u00e0 une revue de ses produits d\u2019assurance et tient compte du rehaussement de ses cibles en mati\u00e8re de capital. La hausse des cibles de capital immobilis\u00e9 permet une meilleure stabilit\u00e9 du syst\u00e8me financier canadien en r\u00e9duisant les risques associ\u00e9s au march\u00e9 de l\u2019habitation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">L&#8217;augmentation des primes ne devrait pas avoir de cons\u00e9quence significative pour l\u2019acheteur moyen de propri\u00e9t\u00e9 au Canada. L\u2019impact de cette augmentation sur les financements hypoth\u00e9caires assur\u00e9s par la SCHL d\u00e9pendra de l&#8217;importance de la mise de fonds (voir tableau ci-dessous). Pour l\u2019acheteur canadien moyen, la hausse des primes ne donnera lieu qu&#8217;\u00e0 une augmentation d\u2019environ 5 $ de ses mensualit\u00e9s hypoth\u00e9caires.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.fciq.ca\/images\/fenetre\/201403-img1.jpg?resize=528%2C264\" alt=\"\" width=\"528\" height=\"264\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Cette hausse de primes d\u2019environ 15\u00a0% en moyenne s\u2019appliquera seulement aux pr\u00eats consentis \u00e0 partir du 1er mai 2014.
